Parque do Campo Grande is one of the largest parks in the city center, with a lake and canoes for rent. El Corte Inglés Lisbon is here — one of the largest department stores in Europe.

University students (many resident students), professors, expat researchers, middle-class Portuguese families. Few tourists.
What it's like during the day
Student and residential life. The Campo Grande (park) hosts running, jogging, picnics. El Corte Inglés is a meeting point for shopping. Close to the MNAC (National Museum of Costume) and the Museu da Cidade.

Quiet, except during the academic year — lively student bars. Few signature restaurants.

Metro Campo Grande (yellow and green lines — important hub). Capillary buses. 10 min by metro from downtown.
