Balta Albă is a large residential district in eastern Bucharest, built between the 1960s and the 1980s and bordering the area of the Alexandru Ioan Cuza park. What it is like by day
By day the district has the ordinary rhythm of the great residential areas: shops on the ground floors, small markets, children in the courtyards, older people on the benches. The nearby park is the main resource for free time. The main roads are busy, the inner fabric is quiet.

The evening is calm and family-oriented. Local bars, little else. To go out you take the metro towards the centre. This is an area where you sleep well.

The area is served by the M1 and M3 stations in the Titan and Dristor area, reachable on foot or with a few surface stops. Buses and trams are numerous. Connections are solid even if not always immediate.
